Tracy Munusami is the CEO of Newmarket Public Library. A strategic thinker with excellent communication skills, she has a passion for enhancing customer experience and accessibility, forming strong community connections, and fostering empathetic leadership.

She works to build connections with the community to bring innovative services to the people of Newmarket. When she is not working, Tracy likes to spend time at NewMakeIt, trying to improve her pottery skills.

Mark J. Stewart is a proud member of the NewMakeIt Board of Directors, where he currently serves as Vice Chair.

Mark obtained a Bachelor of Laws from City St. George, University of London, UK. He also holds a Master of Arts from the University of Ottawa and a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Guelph. Mark joined a Newmarket law firm in 2025 after having started his own law practice following his call to the bar in 2016. Before becoming a lawyer, Mark was a speechwriter at a large Canadian bank and a Legislative Assistant to two Members of Parliament in Ottawa. He has also worked as an English and business language instructor in Tokyo, Japan.

In other leadership roles, Mark is a member of the Board of Directors of the Sarcoma Cancer Foundation of Canada and is a past member of the Board of Directors of the Education Quality and Assessment Office (EQAO), a provincial Crown agency.

In his spare time, he enjoys painting and drawing, personal fitness and taking in the occasional baseball game.

Jayson is a numbers whiz with a Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce and a Graduate Diploma in Accounting from Queen’s University. He has worked in public accounting since 2013, specializing in assurance and compliance engagements.

In addition to his role at NewMakeIt, Jayson currently serves as Treasurer of Hesperus Village, an elder living facility in Richmond Hill, and the Central York Chamber of Commerce.

Marnie Sigmar joined the NewMakeIt Board of Directors in 2023 and is currently serving her second and final term.

She brings extensive nonprofit leadership experience, having spent the first half of her career with Inspiration Cafe in Chicago, a nonprofit providing meals and supportive services to adults experiencing homelessness, followed by a leadership role with Yellow Brick House, supporting women and children affected by domestic violence through emergency shelter and other services.

In both organizations, Marnie’s work focused on program management, fundraising, and strategic planning. She is passionate about strengthening community connections and supporting NewMakeIt’s mission of creating an inclusive, welcoming space where people can learn, make, and build community.

Roy Marra is currently an IT executive in the energy sector. Over his career, he has held senior leadership roles in internal IT delivery, consulting, and business process/application outsourcing for various organizations in the healthcare, financial, private and public sectors.

Roy has served on a number of boards for healthcare and not-for-profit organizations. He is a former Ministry of Health appointment to The College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario, former board member of Peel Art Gallery, Museum and Archive (PAMA), and former Vice President/Treasurer of the Legacy Pines Community Association. He is currently a board member for Health and Supportive Care Oversight Authority and the Chair of the Canadian Public Relations Society Foundation.

Roy holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science, an EMBA, and the Chartered Director (C.Dir.) designation from The Directors College.
