If metalworking is new to you, guided workshops give you a safe first step. Choose welding for joining and fabrication, or blacksmithing for shaping steel with heat and a hammer.

Begin with Basic MIG Welding to learn safe setup, control and strong welds. Continue into TIG welding and fabrication as your skills develop.

Workshop levels

Choose the right place to begin.

Workshop titles identify the experience expected. Read the individual class description before booking so you know which skills come first.

Beginner Level 1

No experience required. Learn essential safety, setup and foundational metalworking techniques.

Beginner Level 2

Continue into more detailed welding and fabrication after completing the listed introductory workshop or accepted equivalent experience.

One on One Instruction

Focused guidance for a specific process, technique or project, arranged according to instructor availability.
