Before you register
WORKSHOP POLICIES & CANCELLATIONS.
Workshop registrations are non-refundable. If your plans change, the amount of workshop credit available depends on how much notice you provide.
Cancellation timing
HOW WORKSHOP CREDIT WORKS.
Notice is measured from the scheduled start time of your workshop. Credits may be used toward a future workshop.
01 · More notice
More than 72 hours
Receive a credit for the full amount paid to use toward a future workshop.
02 · Short notice
24–72 hours
Receive a credit for 50% of the amount paid to use toward a future workshop.
03 · Late cancellation
Less than 24 hours
No workshop credit is available. No credit is offered once a workshop has begun.

PLEASE PLAN AHEAD.
These policies help us protect small workshop sizes, instructor time, prepared materials and access for people waiting for a space.
Arrival
Late arrivals
Participants arriving more than 15 minutes late without notifying us may not be admitted and will not receive workshop credit.
Multiple dates
Multi-session workshops
No credit is available after the first session begins. If NewMakeIt must delay a session, participants will be notified and the session will be rescheduled for the earliest available date.
Schedule changes
If NewMakeIt cancels
A workshop may be cancelled or postponed because of unforeseen circumstances or insufficient enrolment. We will first try to move participants into the next available session. Participants may request workshop credit instead.
Business disruptions
Closures & emergencies
If programming is disrupted by a public-health emergency, severe closure or similar event, NewMakeIt may reschedule, pause or cancel affected workshops. Credit will reflect whether any portion of the workshop has already been delivered. Rescheduled workshops are not eligible for credit.
Registration
Payment is required
Workshop registrations must be paid in full before the scheduled start time. We cannot hold a workshop space without payment.
After the start
No credit after starting
No workshop credit is offered under any circumstances once a workshop, or the first date of a multi-session workshop, has begun.
Need to cancel?
LET US KNOW AS SOON AS POSSIBLE.
Include the purchaser’s name, workshop name and scheduled date so we can locate the registration and confirm the available credit.
