Create a Handmade Plate & Spoon

Designed specifically for seniors, this fun and relaxing pottery workshop will guide you through creating your own decorative plate and spoon using pinch pot and slab-building techniques. Personalize your pieces with textures, patterns, colours, or hand-drawn designs to make them uniquely yours.

All finished pieces are food safe, dishwasher safe, and microwave safe. After the workshop, our studio will professionally glaze your creations with a clear food-safe glaze and fire them in our kilns. Your finished pieces will be ready for pickup approximately two weeks after the workshop.

Please Note:

  • This workshop is generously subsidized through the New Horizons for Seniors Program, allowing participants aged 55 and older to register at the reduced rate of $34.95 + HST.

  • Participants under the age of 55 are welcome to join at the regular registration price of $89.95 + HST.

  • Please bring a valid photo ID to confirm eligibility for the senior rate.
