Description:
Explore your creativity in this relaxed two-day pottery open studio for adults 55+.
On Day 1, participants will use hand-building techniques to create their own pottery project with supportive instructor guidance. Please arrive with a few ideas for projects that can reasonably be completed within the three-hour session. To ensure each project is safe and achievable, the instructor may ask you to simplify an idea, choose an alternative or decline a project that is not suitable.
On Day 2, return to add colour and personality through glazing. This workshop is for hand-building only, pottery wheels will not be used.
No previous pottery experience is needed. This relaxed workshop is a fun opportunity to try something new, build confidence and connect with others.
Your finished pottery will be food safe, dishwasher safe and microwave safe. Your pieces will be ready for pickup approximately two weeks after the glazing session.

This workshop is generously subsidized through the New Horizons for Seniors Program, allowing participants aged 55 and older to register at the reduced rate of $34.95 + HST.
