Explore the Art of Pottery in This 6-Week Workshop!
Join us for a hands-on pottery experience designed for ages 16+. Learn the fundamentals of wheel throwing, trimming, and glazing while creating your own unique cups, bowls, vases, and more.
What You’ll Learn:
🔹 Weeks 1 & 2: Get comfortable on the wheel and shape your first pottery pieces.
🔹 Week 3: Refine your work with trimming techniques for a polished look.
🔹 Week 4: Take on more advanced forms like vases or pitchers.
🔹 Week 5: Add finishing details and personalize your pottery.
🔹 Week 6: Experiment with glazing techniques to complete your creations.

Meet the Instructors:
A sometimes Pottery Instructor, sometimes Illustrator, and self-taught Screen Printer, Catherine Harasymiw currently works out of her studio in Newmarket, Ontario. Spiriting a BFA in Drawing and Painting away from the clutches of OCAD U, Catherine’s gone on to participate in a number of local, and distant art shows, including “Kinesis” a show curated by Twist Gallery in Toronto, and “Portal to Enigma”, a group show in New York City. Many of her slow-fading event posters can be found adorning the lofty telephone poles of York Region and the Greater Toronto Area.
