Description:
In this workshop you will create a pair of dangle earrings in sterling silver with a saw pierced design that is mirrored left and right. You’ll work through the full process of transforming flat silver sheet into a balanced, cohesive pair of finished earrings.
Techniques include:
• Design layout and transferring your design onto silver
• Drilling pilot holes to prepare for piercing
• Using a jewellers saw to carefully cut out your design
• Refining and shaping your pieces
• Finishing techniques including texturing with emery paper
• Surface detailing with punches
• Polishing for a clean, professional finish
This workshop focuses on precision, symmetry, and surface exploration. You’ll leave with a completed pair of handcrafted sterling silver dangle earrings that reflect your own design while showcasing traditional jewellery techniques.
