A three-band rolling ring
Shape, texture and join three bands into a ready-to-wear rolling ring, also known as a Trinity Ring.
From straight wire to linked bands.
Work through the complete process with demonstrations and individual help from Jim.
Shape each band
Measure, cut and form each metal band to create a comfortable final size.
Create contrast
Choose hammered, matte or polished surfaces that make each band distinct.
Close clean joins
Use torch, flux and solder with close guidance to create secure bands.
Assemble the rolling ring
Interlock, refine and polish all three bands so they roll smoothly together.

Meet Jim.
Support from forming through finishing
Jim Travers demonstrates each stage and helps participants adjust sizing, solder cleanly and balance the three bands so the finished ring moves comfortably.

No previous jewellery-making or metalworking experience is required.
Maximum six participants
A small group allows time for individual guidance at each stage.
Tools and materials included
Ring metals, hand tools, torch, solder and finishing materials are provided.

Market Candle Company, Unit 17, 1100 Gorham Street, Newmarket.
Come workshop ready
Wear closed-toe shoes and practical clothing. Secure long hair and avoid loose sleeves around tools and the torch. Required equipment and safety guidance are provided.
