Your finished project

A pair of sterling-silver dangle earrings

Transform flat silver sheet into a mirrored pair using drilled openings, precise saw-piercing, surface texture and a polished finish.

Precision, symmetry and surface detail.

Follow the full process from transferring the design to finishing the completed earrings.

01 / Plan

Lay out the mirrored design

Transfer your pattern accurately so the two earrings read as a balanced pair.

02 / Prepare and pierce

Drill and saw the silver

Create pilot holes and use a jeweller’s saw to cut the internal design carefully.

03 / Refine

Shape clean edges

File and smooth the pierced pieces while maintaining symmetry and proportion.

04 / Finish

Texture and polish

Use emery paper, punches and polishing tools to create a professional surface.
