In this hands-on workshop, you’ll explore the essentials of working with leather while completing your custom belt from start to finish.

You’ll learn:

  • How to choose the most suitable leather and understand different leather types for belts
  • Essential tools and materials used in leathercraft
  • Measuring and cutting a strap to your exact size
  • Tracing and safely cutting from a pattern
  • Basic tooling and decorative techniques (optional customization)
  • Punching belt holes and preparing hardware placement
  • Dyeing and finishing practices for a clean, professional look
  • Installing the buckle and securing hardware
  • Edge beveling, burnishing, and final detailing

The session wraps up with a Q&A to help you continue exploring leathercraft on your own.
