UV Printing

Full-colour printing on approved rigid items and surfaces. Staff reviews the object, artwork, placement and expected handling before production.

02 · PERMANENT DETAIL

Laser Engraving

Engrave approved wood, acrylic and coated or compatible surfaces for plaques, tags, panels, event pieces and marked components.

ARTWORK PREP

A CLEAN FILE MAKES A CLEANER RESULT.

Send artwork as SVG, PDF, PNG or JPG. Vector artwork is preferred for cutting and engraving. Transparent-background, high-resolution artwork is preferred for UV printing where appropriate.

If the file is not production-ready, NewMakeIt may be able to provide paid artwork cleanup or design help. A proof or placement approval may be required before printing.

  • State the final size and print or engraving location
  • Convert important text to outlines when possible
  • Include brand colours or colour references
  • Confirm that you own the artwork or have permission to reproduce it
  • Tell us how the item will be handled, cleaned or displayed

IMPORTANT LIMITS

WE REVIEW THE OBJECT AS WELL AS THE ARTWORK.

Surface, shape and use affect print adhesion, engraving quality and durability.

Customer-supplied itemsAccepted only after staff approves the material, surface, shape and size. Customer-supplied objects are provided at the customer’s risk.
Flexible itemsWatch bands and other repeatedly flexed items are not currently offered for UV printing. Standard white ink may crack or peel when bent.
CareUV-printed items are hand-wash only. Do not soak, use a dishwasher, or apply alcohol or harsh abrasive cleaners to the print.
Food contactPrinted areas must not contact food or the mouth. The suitability of any blank depends on the unprinted item and its intended use.
Colour + placementScreen colours and placement may vary slightly on the finished object. A physical sample may be recommended for a larger run.
