In this hands-on workshop, you’ll explore the essentials of working with leather while completing your custom belt from start to finish.
You’ll learn:
- How to choose the most suitable leather and understand different leather types for belts
- Essential tools and materials used in leathercraft
- Measuring and cutting a strap to your exact size
- Tracing and safely cutting from a pattern
- Basic tooling and decorative techniques (optional customization)
- Punching belt holes and preparing hardware placement
- Dyeing and finishing practices for a clean, professional look
- Installing the buckle and securing hardware
- Edge beveling, burnishing, and final detailing
The session wraps up with a Q&A to help you continue exploring leathercraft on your own.
