Paul Dance introduces safe equipment setup, helps each participant develop arc control and provides individual feedback throughout the welding exercises.

Beginner Level 1
No previous welding experience is required.
Age 16+
A parent or guardian must sign the waiver for participants under 18.
Equipment included
MIG welders, welding helmets, gloves, wire, steel and required safety equipment are provided.

Come workshop ready
Wear long-sleeved cotton or other natural-fibre clothing, long pants and sturdy closed-toe shoes. Avoid synthetic or loose clothing, remove jewellery and secure long hair. NewMakeIt provides welding helmets, safety glasses, gloves, earplugs and other required workshop PPE.
