Your workshop project
One or two stained glass sun catchers
Your pace and pattern choice determine how many pieces you complete. Marvin guides you through every stage of the copper foil method.
From pattern to finished piece.
The workshop follows the same practical process used to assemble copper foil stained glass.
Cut the glass
Use a hand cutter and breaking pliers safely to shape the glass for your chosen pattern.
Grind and refine
Smooth the edges and adjust each piece so the parts fit together cleanly.
Apply copper foil
Wrap the prepared glass edges with copper foil tape and burnish it into place.
Solder and finish
Join the pieces with solder, add the hanging hardware and complete your sun catcher.
