An emerging project aims to bring creative types and do-it-yourselfers under one roof.

Shepherding the effort is the Orillia Tool Library and Makerspace, a non-profit organization that intends to provide a shared workshop area where members can design, create, share, and inspire one another.

“Quite simply, members get together at the space to make stuff, to work on personal projects or bigger collaborative ones,” group member Braden O’Neill told city council recently.
