5-week Introduction to Watercolour workshop: May 27, June 3, 10, 17 and 24, 2023

Welcome to the Watercolour Painting Course! In this course, we will focus on exploring and developing your own style of watercolour paintings using a variety of themes such as landscapes, still lives, and flowers.

Throughout the course, we will provide demonstrations, exercises, and feedback to help you gain confidence and knowledge in working with this spontaneous, playful medium. By the end of the course, you will be able to express yourself through this visual language and use different techniques to develop a painting.

The course outcomes are:

1. Increase the speed at which you make decisions during the painting process.
2. Gain confidence and knowledge working with this medium.
3. Express yourself through this visual language.
4. Use different techniques to develop a painting.

The delivery methods and learning activities we will use include demonstrations, lectures, class work, class discussion, visual aids, practice, painted samples, and individualized instruction. We believe that these methods will provide a comprehensive learning experience and help you achieve the course outcomes.
