Tormach CNC Machining
CUSTOM MANUFACTURING · TORMACH
SMALL PARTS. SERIOUS PRECISION.
NewMakeIt’s Tormach CNC milling service supports detailed prototype parts, fixtures and custom components in approved metals and machinable plastics.

DETAILED PARTS WITH A DEFINED PURPOSE.
The Tormach is suited to smaller components that need controlled dimensions and machined features.
01 · PROVE THE DESIGN
Functional Prototypes
Machine a test part to evaluate geometry, assembly, movement, mounting or material choice before a larger commitment.

Jigs + Fixtures
Create locating plates, drilling guides, workholding parts and process fixtures around a defined workflow.
03 · MAKE THE PART
Custom Components
Produce a clearly specified one-off or small run where material, features and tolerances are known.
04 · REFINE THE DESIGN
Design Iterations
Adjust and remake a component after fit or function testing reveals what should change.
DESIGN FOR MACHINING
NOT EVERY CAD MODEL IS READY TO MILL.
Tool diameter, tool reach, part access, workholding, internal corners and operation order all affect whether a model can be machined as drawn.
NewMakeIt can review manufacturability and may recommend a changed feature, different stock size, multiple setups or a lower-cost prototype process first.
- Identify all critical dimensions and tolerances
- Specify the exact material and stock form
- Include threads, hole sizes and finish requirements
- Explain how the part interfaces with other components
- Flag surfaces that matter visually or functionally
WHAT TO SEND
A DIMENSIONED DRAWING SUPPORTS THE 3D MODEL.
Visual appearance alone is not enough for precision machining.
TORMACH WORKFLOW
DEFINE. PROGRAM. PROVE. MACHINE.
A test or first article may be recommended before a repeated run.
Define
Send the model, drawing, material, quantity, use and deadline.
Review
Staff assesses tool access, workholding, setups and missing specifications.
Approve
Confirm the quote, assumptions and any prototype or first-article stage.
Machine
NewMakeIt produces the approved scope and checks specified features.
NEXT STEP
HAVE A PART FOR THE TORMACH?
Send the 3D model and a dimensioned drawing. If the idea is still changing, start with Prototyping.
Safety-critical, regulated, medical, pressure-containing or otherwise high-risk parts may be declined. Material, tolerance and inspection requirements must be agreed before production.
