FILAMENT OR RESIN

CHOOSE THE PROCESS BY WHAT MATTERS MOST.

Filament printing is often the practical choice for larger prototypes, functional forms and economical iterations. Resin printing can suit smaller work where fine detail and surface resolution matter more.

Staff will recommend an available material and process after reviewing the part. Outside filament may be accepted only after the material and filament type are approved.

FILE + PRICE DETAILS

A WATERTIGHT FILE IS ONLY THE START.

Orientation, supports and material choice can change strength, appearance, time and cost.

Accepted starting filesSTL or 3MF. Include the intended finished dimensions and units.
File checksStaff reviews scale, wall thickness, unsupported features, mesh condition, orientation and obvious print risks.
Quote factorsMaterial type and weight, print time, supports, quantity, risk, post-processing and any file repair or design help.
Failed printsIf a faulty customer file causes the failure, the customer pays for material used. If NewMakeIt’s setup or equipment caused it, NewMakeIt will reprint the job.
Design responsibilityThe customer remains responsible for part design, engineering, final fit, safety and suitability for the intended use.

Send STL or 3MF plus dimensions, quantity, use, colour and deadline.

Staff checks the model and recommends process, material, orientation and supports.

Confirm cost, assumptions, risks and any test print or file changes.

Print + collect

NewMakeIt runs the job and contacts you when it is ready for pickup.

3D-printed parts are not automatically food-safe, medical-safe, child-safe, load-rated, watertight, heat-resistant or suitable for regulated use. Suitability must be evaluated for the specific design and material.
