Description:
This is an introductory class for participants that wish to learn the art and skill of woodworking.
During this program, You will learn the basics of creating with wood. From different types of wood and materials to working with shop tools and equipment to create several different projects. You will learn the proper operation of various tools such as table and band saws, planer, router, jointer, and sanders.
This workshop requires no previous experience. Just the excitement of learning new skills!
You will receive complementary Membership for wood shop at NewMakeIt during the term of the class, allowing additional time to work on projects and bolster their knowledge.
This program is both classroom and workshop based. you will need to provide the necessary safety equipment and appropriate dress.
