This beginner woodworking workshop is perfect for those who want to learn how to create things out of wood. In this class, you will be introduced to the basics of woodworking, including the different types of wood and materials you can use, as well as how to use the shop tools and equipment to make different projects. You will learn how to properly use tools like table and band saws, planers, routers, jointers, and sanders.
No prior experience is necessary, just a desire to learn new skills! Additionally, you'll receive a complimentary membership for the wood shop at NewMakeIt during the class term, which will give you extra time to work on projects and build your skills.
Please note that this workshop will take place both in a classroom and in a workshop, so you'll need to bring your own safety equipment and wear appropriate clothing.
* Material fees included.
